When you come to Missouri Southern on your interview day, you’ll find that the experience has been designed as a low-stress day that allows us to get to know you, and vice versa.
MKEAP candidates will be greeted by MSSU President Dr. Dean Van Galen and Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Lisa Toms.
Prior to lunch and the afternoon interviews with the selection committee, you and your family will be treated to a tour that showcases MSSU’s leading anatomy and dissection lab spaces, the Reynolds Hall science building, and campus residence halls.
A question-and-answer session with current MSSU and KCU students will give you the chance to gain valuable insight about both programs.

Following lunch, you and your family will travel to the state-of-the-art KCU campus, ideally located in Joplin and benefitting from the city’s status as a regional medical hub with two major hospital systems – Mercy Joplin and Freeman Health System.
At the KCU Joplin campus, tours of the facilities and the interviews with the selection committee will be held. MKEAP is a one-of-a-kind program designed around our students, and the interview process reflects that commitment.”
