Applicant consideration for the MKEAP program is based on the following criteria:
A minimum ACT composite score of 28 (with at least a 22 in the math section) or a SAT composite score of 1310 (with at least a 540 in the math section). Only single test scores are considered; superscores are not accepted.
A cumulative unweighted GPA of at least 3.700, and a minimum 3.500 GPA in math and science courses, based on a 4.000 scale.
Demonstrated involvement in extracurricular activities, with a strong emphasis on community service and leadership.
Completion of at least three years of mathematics, including algebra and trigonometry.
Completion of at least three years of science, including biology and chemistry.
